I met Taylor Murphy-Sinclair during the reading of my writing partner Brantley’s reading of his awesome script Chuckles. When we set out to shoot our horror short Soundbite, that was launching Horror House, we asked to be our actress. So this is the follow up to our film Soundbite.
Enjoy while Taylor and I drink mimosas (or hard cider this time)
Taylor Murphy-Sinclair is an actress, writer, and chapstick enthusiast based out of Los Angeles. She was born and raised in Arroyo Grande, California, and grew up performing in the local black box theater, which sat just under 50. She was honored to return to that theater in 2012 in a remount of her one-woman show, “I Can’t Draw A Heart and Other Episodes,” which she wrote, designed, and starred in. She is also the author of “Observations On: A Collection of Short Essays” which debuted at the Chromolume Theatre in Los Angeles in May of 2014.
A recent graduate of the UCLA School of Theater, Film, & Television, Taylor has been working consistently in television and commercials, as well as continuing to write for the stage. She regularly collaborates with Buzzfeed, Extremely Decent Films, and as many other internet-based sketch comedy groups as she can! A student of anything creative, Taylor spends a lot of time journaling, selling mulberry juice, and trying to paint.
