Interview 21 – Nick Zara

While I was traveling in London for my birthday, I went to a local pub there called The White Horse in Richmond, UK. They have an open mic there on Sundays that is usually well attended. I went there one evening with my friend to listen to some good music and enjoy my first Sunday roast.  The food was amazing AND the talent was extraordinary, especially this young man Nick. He is Italian, tall, very handsome, and best of all has an AMAZING voice – and he writes his own music! Because he is based in the UK it is hard to set up a podcast interview because of the time difference – although I would definitely love to have him on the show, so in the meantime, please take a moment to read his interview and listen to his music!

Also! I hope to direct one of his music videos one day. *hint hint*

1) Tell us about your music style?

I like mixing two different kind of Music, pop and Rap Music. I have the guitar and sometimes the piano that helps me with that

2) Who has been your biggest influence/inspiration for your music?

I grew up listening to Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, and even damien rice so this artists inspired me a lot even if I like listening to new kind of music everytime that I can.

3) How did you begin with your music career?

My career started when I started writing songs so when I was 18teen years old and when I moved to England after school to bring my songs to record labels every day and playing in club as solo artist every night.

4) If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be? Why?

Of course It would be amazing to collaborate with the artists I mentioned before but Dua Lipa is a singer who excite curiosity to me a lot lately, her voice is amazing.

5) What advice would you give to those who want to follow their dream of music?

I think the most Important thing for those who wants to “live” the music is just believe in yourself, keep doing what you love doing and never give up until you reach it.
